Grandparents are such a special thing in our lives. Personally, I lost all of mine at a pretty young age with the exception of my grandmother. I have extremely fond memories of all of them, from holidays, to neighborhood golf cart parades, days at a circus, family vacations, the memories are countless. We love to sit around as a family and tell these stories from our childhood.
As we grow, our relationships with our grandparents change so much. When we are little, it’s the precious moments of bedtime stories, keeping us up late to watch movies when mom and dad want us in bed, sneaking us that extra cookie when mom said no. Things that feel so small in the moment, but so grand with the passing of time. I have so many of these memories with my grandparents.

My parents are now grandparents and I see them creating these same memories with my nephews. These sweet everyday moments they will cherish forever. When I started to develop the themes for Teenie Toddler Films, I knew we needed a grandparent video. A small highlight reel of those special memories. I remember one of my friends telling me once that the quickest memory to fade is the sound of someone’s voice. This always resonated with me. I remember so much about my grandparents, but I don’t remember their voices.
Teenie Toddler Films' book times with grandparents sessions feel so special to me on so many levels. Each session is customized to a favorite book of the family, read by the grandparents, and set to sweet music. And as always, we capture family photos of the moment as well.
But grandparent video and photo sessions don’t just have to be bedtime stories. It can be walks to your favorite parks, days at the zoo, baking cookies, any memory you create that is meaningful to your family and loved ones. All of those make for the sweetest of videos and the most special memory as time passes.
